Steve and Diane headed out early with BITTS’ ebike, affectionately named “Big Red”, and came across a new nest with 126 eggs that needed relocating. A friendly kangaroo supervised.

Why relocate?

Recent weather events have caused erosion on Bribie’s beaches, which means turtles can’t make it up the dunes to lay safely. On the beach they are prone to further erosion, human activity and damage from vehicles.
